1. 01 Am I locked in? No. Either side can end the service at any time, with no early-termination fee. A documented handover is free. The Portability page lists what moves with you and what stops.
2. 02 What do I have to manage? About 55 minutes of your own time at move-in. That covers DNS access, your secrets, and a sign-off on the go-live window. After that we manage the infrastructure: TLS, backups, monitoring, and patching. Your application code stays yours to run.
3. 03 How does pricing work? One flat number per month. The rate card lists a fair-use transfer allowance.
4. 04 Is there a setup fee? There is no setup fee on any plan. The first charge is the first monthly invoice. Standard moves are part of onboarding, with no separate line item. An unusually complex move gets a flat quote before work starts, so the move never brings a surprise invoice.
5. 05 Why is the entry tier so cheap? Serving a small static site costs us a rounding error in bytes. The $5/mo rate pays for the managed layer around it: TLS, DNS, a deploy pipeline, backups, and a person who answers.
6. 06 Can I attach a database to any plan? Yes. Any managed database tier can sit beside a static or dedicated plan. Add its rate to the base plan and that is the total.
7. 07 What counts as fair-use transfer? Each plan lists a transfer allowance sized well above normal traffic for that tier. If usage stays over it, we reach out before anything changes. See Billing for the numbers and the exact sequence.
