Resource fair use
Plans are sized for real workloads, not for reselling capacity or absorbing abusive load. Static plans carry a fair-use transfer allowance — roughly 100 GB/mo on Static Starter, 500 GB/mo on Static Pro. Dedicated plans are bounded by the compute and storage of the instance itself. If a workload is running near those limits in good faith, we'll talk with you about the right plan before cutting anything off. See Billing for this allowance in plain English, and Under attack for what junk traffic specifically does to that allowance.
Security & abuse reporting
To report abuse originating from the grid, or to disclose a security vulnerability, use the quote form — it's the only channel in, for customers and outside reporters alike. See Under attack for what happens after a report, and the machine-readable pointer at /.well-known/security.txt.
Enforcement
Enforcement is proportionate. Where there's time, we'll give notice and a chance to fix the issue. Active harm to others gets immediate action, without waiting for a response. Repeated or severe violations lead to suspension or termination under the Terms of Service.
